Nissan UK Bodyshop PdM Training

Excellent couple of days spent up in the north east at the impressive Nissan Motor Manufacturing facility to talk about their existing Predictive Maintenance practices and how they will develop over the next few months.

I must say I have never come across such a friendly switched on group of engineers, from the PdM Techs their line Managers and the Training Department it was a pleasure to work with them.

As part of Uptime Consultant's "Introduction to PdM & CBM" we had hands on time on the shop floor examining suspect assets and confirming suspicions whilst narrowing down to the specific fault mode.

I'm looking forward to a return visit in a couple of weeks to carry out some follow up work and hopefully train another department on strategy, return on investment as well as the techniques and technology that provides the best value in their operations.
