UPTIME Consultant Ltd passed the Cyber Essentials Cerification Actually forgot to mention this, we took our Cyber Essentials 'test' back in June, how time flies!
It was really down to a prospective client that has high concerns about cyber security that we wanted to comply with. It's a worthwhile thing to do because it makes you consider your systems and how you operate them. We are pretty 'tight' here anyway as we are small and keep the smallest footprint we can. I'm also very aware of all the email scams, importance of password protection, along with using double authentication. It was slightly time consuming process for a small business, but if it assures our clients we are doing the right thing, then it's worth the subscription fee.

Bilfinger SE & UPTIME Consultant join forces on Monday Sept' 13th As part of the Lubrication & Reliability Virtual Summit I will be joining Kendrick Hieb GDM of Bilfinger SE in a pre-conference video room chat to take questions (and hopefully give some answers!) based on the title "Lubricant Management Systems"
I will be talking from my experience of inventing systems for clients, carrying them out on Food Production facilities, whereas I believe Kendrick will have a more macro view, he has Oil, Gas, Renewables in his sector so there should be a good synergy.
